We had a fantastic shoot this week!
The purpose of this day of filming was to catch up with Rich
on what’s he’s been doing the last few weeks
and take some time to reminisce about the good ole’ days of being an Astronaut.
Here we are in the Satrun V building standing in front of the a mock up of the rocket that took us to the moon.
Here we are in the current mission control.
The is the Historic Mission Control,
where some of the greatest accomplishments in man’s history have taken place.
I couldn’t resist.
(Did you notice that I’m wearing one of “The Astronaut’s Secret” official T-shirts? Now available for purchase on the webiste)
Then we went over the Neutral Buoyancy Lab, or the EVA training head quarters
to talk with Rich about the rigors of performing a 6 hour spacewalk.
Later that day we went down to Galveston to film an interivew with Dr. Richard Jennings.
Dr. Jennings was the doctor that told Rich, back in 1994, to go see a neurologist.
Right now we’re working on scheduling interviews with The Michael J. Fox Foundation.
We’ll be doing interviews with Dr. Todd Sherer, CEO of the MJFF, and Debbie Brooks, Co-Founder of the MJFF.
Rich and I will be attending a Space Conferance
in Houston on February 25th called Space Up Houston.
We will use this opportunity to speak about the project and build more buzz.
We’ve also reached the $4,000 mark with our 23andMe Facebook Partnership.
They have offered to continue all the way to $15,000
but that means we need another 9,000 people to like their Facebook page.
Please tell your network that by liking 23andMe on Facebook they’ll be giving $1 towards the production of this film.
